What does a typical day look like for you at Polyco?
I handle all of our HR needs — from payroll and employee relations to recruiting and insurance.
What did you do before joining Polyco?
I worked at a roofing company called Polyglass. I started out as a receptionist and eventually started taking courses in HR management.
What are you most excited about at Polyco?
When I first came to work here 12 years ago, I wouldn’t have guessed that Polyco would be a green company. I’m excited to see companies needing and wanting our product here in the United States and abroad.
How have you seen the company evolve over the years?
Originally, we only served the roofing industry and now we’ve expanded to paving and entered a whole new market. We are always working to solve problems and make things better. Tom finds a niche and I think it’s just the way his brain works. And he always finds a way to make things better, improve on the product. It’s awesome to watch and be a part of.
What does the future look like for Polyco?
Getting our RDP unit dialed in to make the product better and make enough to spread it through the whole country, making roads darker and stronger.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I love traveling, especially to watch live sports with my husband. I love the 49ers and baseball games. I also love hanging with my friends in the back yard and enjoying a beer. The simple things in life.
